Haruhay Dream Resort – Cozy and Affordable Bed & Breakfast Resort

 

Haruhay Dream Resort is a family-managed property tucked away in a tropical garden near the coast of Mactan Island. The resort is owned and managed by Wolfgang Pichler, who hails from Austria, and his beautiful Filipino wife Evelyn. The founded the resort in 1986 on a 1ha property, in the beginning just some huts for friends and family. Quickly it developed into a nicely run family resort with 8 rooms. A swimming pool and a tennis court were added later. 6 more rooms are added in 2016.  A spacious restaurant was build, serving not only Filipino food but specializing on European cuisine, too.

Family-run means that the family not only owns and runs the resort but is present at the premises every day and that they treat guests, employees and neighbors like their own kin. Very likely that as a guest you soon feel part of their family. As an avid tennis player the resort is home to a Mactan Tennis Club.

The resort offers 14 rooms, all located inside a tropical garden. The rooms are basic, clean and comfortable and reasonable priced. A hearty breakfast is included in the room charge.

All rooms are equipped with hot water, bathroom, cable TV, air conditioning and have access to the swimming pool.
